A motorcyclist has been killed following a fatal collision on a major London road during a police chase.
The A13 Commercial Road near Limehouse DLR station has been closed since the incident at 2.20am on Monday morning.

Hide AdA motorcycle with two riders was being pursued by police officers at the time of the collision, having failed to stop.
It collided with railings during the chase.
Despite the efforts of officers and ambulance colleagues, a 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers await confirmation that family members have been informed.
A 29-year-old man was taken to hospital. His condition has been assessed as not life threatening.
The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has made a referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. It has advised that it will be conducting an independent investigation.

Hide AdTraffic website Inrix reported: "A13 Commercial Road in both directions closed due to accident investigation work between A1261 West India Dock Road and Salmon Lane. Congestion to Aspen Way back down West India Dock Road, adding to queues through the Limehouse Link Tunnel."
Bus routes 15, 115, 135, 559 and D3 are on diversion as travel has been affected by the accident in Limehouse.
