TfL: Central, District and Hammersmith & City Tube lines severe delays - customer incident

The London Underground was facing severe delays on Thursday morning (August 24) following a ‘customer incident’ and a signal failure.
Commuters were hit by delays on the Central, District and Hammersmith & City lines.

Central line
There are severe delays due to an earlier customer incident. London Underground tickets are being accepted on London Buses, London Overground, Elizabeth line, Chiltern Railways, Greater Anglia and Great Western Railway.
Hammersmith & City Line
There are severe delays due to an earlier signal failure at Plaistow. Tickets are being accepted on C2C and Buses via any reasonable route.
District Line
Customers face severe delays while the signal failure at Plaistow is fixed. London Underground tickets will be accepted on C2C and local Bus services.

From August 19 to 28, there is no service between Canning Town and Stratford International. Use Jubilee line services.
London Overground
From August 19 to 25 there is no service between Willesden Junction and Watford Junction. Customers can use Bakerloo line services between Willesden Junction and Harrow & Wealdstone.
London North Western Railway services will continue to serve Euston, Harrow & Wealdstone, Bushey and Watford Junction. In addition, they will call at Wembley Central on Monday to Friday. Southern services will call at Wembley Central, Harrow & Wealdstone and Watford Junction.
Special London Bus services are operating.
