London rain: Met Office forecast yellow warning - hour by hour

A 'yellow warning' for rain has been issued for London, with heavy downpours over the coming day.
The Met Office alert began at 2am on Thursday. (February 8) and is in place until 6am on Friday.

Hide AdThe forecaster warns: "Periods of heavy rain will bring the possibility of some disruption, particularly to transport."
It says flooding of homes and businesses is possible and that but and train services could see disruption.
Rain this morning is forecast to ease off at around midday before a break sometime between 2pm and 5pm. From then sporadic downpours are expected through to late morning on Friday.
Temperatures could reach 11°C on Thursday.
On Friday showers could be heavy at times. It will be cloudy but some brighter spells are possible, mainly in the afternoon.
The Met Office forecasts milder weather for Saturday to Monday. There could be outbreaks of rain or showers, heavy at times, mixed with sunny spells.
