Winger eyed

Arsenal are ‘still interested’ in Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhailo Mudryk, according to reporter Fabrizio Romano on Twitter (see tweet below). The winger, who is 21-years-old, is being tipped for a bright future in the game after bursting onto the scene. He has eight caps under his belt for Ukraine so far in his career and has been linked with a few top flight clubs over recent times.

Midfielder wanted

The Gunners are reportedly looking to sign Palmerias ace Danilo. The 21-year-old has been identified as a potential midfield addition ahead of the January transfer window, as reported by 90min. He has made 138 appearances in all competitions for his current club to date and has chipped in with 12 goals.

EFL Trophy latest

Arsenal U21s have been drawn against League Two side Stevenage in the next round of the Papa John’s Trophy. The young Gunners side have progressed through the group stage and now face a tough test in the round of 32. Boro have made an impressive start to the new season under experienced boss Steve Evans and are 2nd in the fourth tier table behind Leyton Orient.
