Arsenal ‘interested’ in transfer swoop and bad news on target

Bundesliga ace on radar

Arsenal are apparently ‘interested’ in Eintracht Frankfurt winger Jesper Lindstrøm, according to Sport1. The Denmark international has been a hit in the Bundesliga since his move to Germany from Brøndby in 2021 and his current club could face a battle to keep hold of him this summer amid interest from the Premier League.

The 22-year-old, who can also play in midfield if needed, has scored 14 goals in 66 games in all competitions to date during his time at Deutsche Bank Park. He is under contract until June 2026 meaning Frankfurt are under no pressure to cash in just yet.

Premier League target latest

The Gunners are ‘not’ in talks to sign Leicester City playmaker James Maddison despite recent reports, according to reporter Fabrizio Romano in his latest update on CaughtOffside. The England international remains at the King Power Stadium but being linked with an exit this summer.

Maddison has played for the Foxes since joining them from Championship side Norwich City in 2016. He has since scored 54 goals in 189 matches altogether but they will face a battle to keep hold of him in the next transfer window.
