Mudryk criticism
TalkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor has torn into Chelsea’s big-money signing Mykhaylo Mudryk after a disappointing start.
“They’ve bought loads of players who are average,” said the former Aston Villa star. “Mudryk came on and he nearly gave away two goals! He was absolutely useless. He’s had 19 games, zero goals and they haven’t got a style of play.”
Mudryk signed for Chelsea for a package worth more than £80million, but he is yet to show his potential in a Blues side that has disappointed as a whole in recent times.

Hide AdTapsoba blow
Tottenham’s reported summer target Edmond Tapsoba looks set to commit his long-term future to his current club.
Fabrizio Romano has tweeted: “EXCLUSIVE: Edmond Tapsoba, set to sign new long term contract at Bayer Leverkusen. Agreement in place until June 2028, as club sources confirm. Tapsoba was in Tottenham & also Man United list — he’s ready to sign new deal. Huge news for Bayer04 & Xabi Alonso.”
Tapsoba is rated at around £25million by Transfermarkt, and the 24-year-old centre-back is a key part of Alonso’s back-line at Leverkusen. Tottenham may well strengthen at the back in January, but it seems they won’t get near Tapsoba without paying a very big fee.
