Latest news on the transfer front involving Tottenham Hotspur emerges following their win over Fulham

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking to snatch Arnaut Danjuma away from fellow Premier League side Everton. The winger is moving back to the Premier League from Villarreal and is a man in-demand.

According to Football Insider, Antonio Conte’s side have ‘hijacked’ the Toffees’ deal to land the player. The report suggests the Merseyside club were on the ‘brink’ of securing his signature but could now miss out. Reporter Jacques Talbot has reported on Twitter that there is another club involved (see below):

Spurs could see Danjuma as someone to bolster their attacking options and after losing out on landing Leandro Trossard from Brighton and Hove Albion to Arsenal, he will be seen as a solid alternative. It has been a quiet month so far for the London club with the deadline next week.

Danjuma has been playing in Spain since 2021 and has scored 22 goals in his last 51 appearances. Crystal Palace have apparently spoken to him recently as well, as per The Athletic.

The Holland international had a two-year spell at Bournemouth before his move to Villarreal and fired 17 goals in 5 outings for the Cherries. He has also had spells at PSV and Club Brugge in the past.

In other Spurs news, Conte is looking to hit some form after their win at Fulham. He has told the club website: ““Now, it has to be a starting point. There are 17 games to go (in the Premier League) and we have to try to do our best. Then, at the end, we’ll see our position in the table.”
