Spurs have a few players unavailable for selection for their clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Lucas Moura is still suspended after getting sent off against the Toffees at Goodison Park.

Defensive trio Emerson Royal, Ben Davies and Ryan Sessegnon remain in the treatment room as they all push to return over the course of the next month from their respective injuries. Midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has ruptured his ACL and is out for the rest of the season which is a blow.

Yves Bissouma also won’t be fit to face his former club. Nevertheless, Richarlison is closing in on his return from his calf problem but it remains to be seen whether he will play against the Seagulls with caretaker boss Cristian Stellini saying: “He trained on the pitch. He is going well and for the next game he could be available.”

As for Brighton, midfield pair Jakub Moder and Adam Lallana are their long-term absentees. The Seagulls will have to assess trio Tariq Lamptey, Alexis MacAllister and Moses Caicedo but they are expected to be in the squad at least after picking up knocks.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side won 2-0 away at Bournemouth in their last outing. They are unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions as they look to beat Spurs.
