BBC's popular Antiques Roadshow series is set to film in London this weekend

The Antiques Roadshow will kick off its summer tour of the country this week as it continues its quest of uncovering the nation's most precious vintage gems for a new series.

Visiting towns and cities across the UK and Scotland, the filming for the show will start in the capital in Ealing on Sunday (May 19).

Over the four-decade run of the show, it has toured museums, parks and estates up and down the country.

Last year filming for the show was based in Bromley as antiques lovers flocked to the area’s Crystal Palace Park. This year the show will invite Londoners to bring their treasures to be assessed at the Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery.

The nearest Tube station to the venue is Ealing Broadway. Accessible via the Central, District and Elizabeth lines the station is around a seven minute walk from the Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery.
