New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Barking and Dagenham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chef It Up T Limited, at RM9 was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 10.

And Ho Lee, at 465 Porters Avenue, Dagenham was given a score of two on June 1.

It means that of Barking and Dagenham's 203 takeaways with ratings, 80 (39%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
