New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of City of London’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of City of London’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Pret a Manger, at Retail Unit, 143-144 Fleet Street, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 28.

And Chapters Deli, at Retail Unit, 50 Bishopsgate, London was also given a score of five on June 22.

It means that of City of London's 287 takeaways with ratings, 240 (84%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
