Road closures: five for Enfield drivers this week

And four of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start this week:

M25, from 10pm September 6 to 5am September 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25 to junction 23, Lane closures for CAT1 carriageway repair.

M25, from 10pm September 10 to 6am September 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to 26, carriageway closure for Tunnel maintenance, diversion via local authority network.

M25, from 10pm September 12 to 5.30am September 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 25, entry slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
