Road closures: almost a dozen for Havering drivers this week

Drivers in and around Havering will have 11 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And seven of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M25, from 10.30pm March 19 to 5am March 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, Lane closure for erection works.

• M25, from 10.30pm March 19 to 5.30am March 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, Lane closures for erection works.

• A127, from 10pm March 16 to 5.30am March 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 to junction 30, carriageway, slip road and lane closure closure resurfacing, diversion via Local authorities.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A13, from 10pm March 20 to 5.30am March 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A13 eastbound, Wennington to junction Mardyke, Lane closure for retexturing works.

• A12, from 10pm March 20 to 6am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28, Lane closure for electrical works.

• A13, from 10pm March 20 to 5am March 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 southbound, junction A126 to junction MarDyke, Lane, entry and exit slip road closures for carriageway repairs, diversions via local authority network.

• M25, from 10pm March 21 to 5am March 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 28, slip road and lane closure for scheme works, diversion via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm March 25 to 5.30am March 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28, slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National highway network.

• M25, from 10pm March 27 to 5am March 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 to junction 30, carriageway, slip road and lane closures for cyclical maintenance, diversion via local authority.

• A127, from 10pm April 1 to 5.30am April 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29, Part-roundabout and lane closure for white lining, diversion via Local authorities.

• A12, from 10pm April 3 to 6am April 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 28, slip road and lane closure for lighting works, diversion via National highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
