New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Islington’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Iberia-Restaurant Georgian Ltd, at Ground Floor, 294-296 Caledonian Road, Islington was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 13.

And Nem Nem Restaurant, at Basement And Ground Floors, 279 Upper Street, Islington was given a score of one on May 12.

It means that of Islington's 965 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 453 (47%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
