New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Kensington and Chelsea’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Kensington and Chelsea’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New Horizons Cafe, at Alan Lennox Boyd Centre, Cadogan Street, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 23.

And The Ivy Chelsea, at 197 King'S Road, London was also given a score of five on February 23.

It means that of Kensington and Chelsea's 822 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 714 (87%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
