New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Kingston’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Agra Tandoori, at 142 Ewell Road, Surbiton was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 22.

And Cafe Rosa, at 106 Alexandra Drive, Surbiton was given a score of two on February 22.

It means that of Kingston's 340 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 200 (59%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
