A Newham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Azad Fresh Chapatis, a takeaway at 373 Katherine Road, Forest Gate, London was given the score after assessment on June 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 331 takeaways with ratings, 142 (43%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
