A Newham takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Big Papas Kitchen, a takeaway at Unit 7, Sovereign Tower, Jude Street, Canning Town was given the score after assessment on December 16, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 343 takeaways with ratings, 155 (45%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
