Olympians Laura and Jason Kenny host cycle-along breakfast at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Londoners got the ultimate wake-up call this week, as Olympic gold medallists Dame Laura and Sir Jason Kenny, returned to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to host a cycle-along breakfast event.

Cyclists of all levels joined the Kennys bright and early Wednesday morning for a unique ride through the park, receiving tips and tricks from the pros along the way.

Expertly led by Laura and Jason, the cycling route offered an engaging journey through the iconic landmarks of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - which holds the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as gold medal-winning memories for the two Olympians.

The morning ride marked Laura Kenny's first time back on a bicycle since her retirement in March 2024, making the event a grand return to the Olympian's successes.

Teaming up with Whole Earth peanut butter, in partnership with Team GB, the event showcased how exercise, coupled with a nutritiously delicious breakfast, can help fuel everyday greatness as part of the brand’s Goodness behind the Greatness campaign.

After the ride, fans were treated to a tasty and nutritious peanut butter-inspired breakfast, giving Londoner's the energy they need for everyday greatness both on and off the bike.

Team GB Cyclists, Dame Laura and Sir Jason Kenny said: “Being part of the Great Start breakfast cycle this morning was so much fun! It was great to see so many individuals come together to start their day in a healthy and active way.
