Colindale: Investigation after man dies in house fire

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters responded to a fire in a semi-detached house, on Colin Park Road, Collindale just after 10pm on Saturday June 1.

Firefighters rescued the man from inside the property, but he was sadly later pronounced dead at the scene, the London Fire Brigade said.

The ground floor of the property and an outbuilding were both completely destroyed by the fire.

The fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
