Louis Parkinson, 25, is accused of conspiracy to commit robbery and causing grievous bodily harm.

A man has been charged after three people were stabbed near Liverpool Station in central London.

Louis Parkinson, from Catherall Street, Highbury, is accused of conspiracy to commit robbery and causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent.

He was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a Class B controlled drug.

Mr Parkinson is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later today (Tuesday, October 11).

The City of London Police received reports of three stabbings and a person pushed to the floor on Bishopsgate at 9.46am on Thursday, October 6, and officers arrived at the scene at 9.51am.

Three victims were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated and the major crime team launched an investigation.

None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses with information to assist with the investigation.

A City of London police spokesperson said: ““A search warrant was executed last night in connection with a second suspect who is actively being sought and the investigation continues.”

The force previously said the attack was not being treated as terror-related.
