The woman, in her 40s, was found with stab wounds in her neck just after morning rush hour.

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in her neck outside a Tube station in east London, the Met Police have said.

Officers were called to Gants Hill station, Ilford at 10.10am on Wednesday morning to reports of an incident.

The woman, in her 40s, was found with stab wounds in her neck just after morning rush hour.

She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A statement from the police said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.

“No arrests have been made.”

This was yards away from where Zara Aleena, 35, was beaten to death earlier in the year.
