Police release CCTV images of two men sought over double stabbing in Newham

The Met Police has released CCTV footage of two males sought following a double stabbing in east London.

At 11.35pm on Wednesday March 20 police were called to Woodgrange Road, Forest Gate following reports of a stabbing.

When officers attended the scene, they located two victims who had suffered multiple stab wounds.

CCTV showed two young men approaching the victims before stabbing them. The suspects then fled towards Forest Gate Rail Station.

After the two men were taken to hospital, their injuries were confirmed to be non-life threatening, the Met Police said.

Detective Constable Ben Dailey from the North East Area Sapphire team said

“We have exhausted all lines of enquiry and we are now asking for the public’s help. It is important that these men are identified as soon as possible.

"While we know the images are not of the greatest quality, we think there is a chance someone might recognise them.

"Were you a witness to this stabbing? Were you in the area on Wednesday March 20? If so, then please come forward to the police by calling 101 stating 8276/20MAR24 to help us identify the two suspects."
