Stefan Moraru died from a stab wound after being found injured in Chandos Avenue, Barnet.

A second man has been charged with the murder of Stefan Stelian Moraru, who died from a stab wound in Barnet earlier this month.

Armand Tafa, 39, of no fixed address, was charged with Mr Moraru’s murder on March 27. Migen Emilova, 35, of no fixed address, was the first person to be charged in connection with the case, on March 26.

His next-of-kin have been informed, and are being supported by specialist officers.

A post–mortem examination on March 21 confirmed Mr Moraru died as a result of a stab wound to the heart.

Mr Tafa is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court this morning (March 28). Mr Emilova meanwhile is to next appear at the Old Bailey on March 29.

Two other men, aged 46 and 29, were also arrested. They have been bailed pending further enquiries.

A Met Police spokesperson confirmed the investigation into Mr Moraru’s death is ongoing, and that anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting CAD968/20Mar.
