The capital is set to get a taste of summer early as forecasts predict the city will reach temperatures up to 16°C this weekend. The warmer weather is expected to continue in London and across the UK throughout the rest of the month and into May.
The UK is set to get a spike in temperatures in late April, with London in particular predicted to see some of the warmest temperatures in the country. Jim Dale, a senior meteorologist at British Weather Services, told the Daily Express that temperatures could hit the mid 20s as part of a ‘soft heatwave’.

Hide AdLondoners may be able to feel the warmer weather from this weekend, according to the Met Office. Sunday is forecasted to have a high of 16°C, with similar temperatures set to follow in the week.
Of course, the expected hotter days will not compare to the sweltering weather felt in the capital last summer. July 19 2022, marked London’s hottest day on record, with a temperature of 40.2°C.

The week is set to end on a high as temperatures in the capital are set to rise. The Met Office has forecast the city to reach a high of 16°C despite clouds lining the skies.

Warmer weather is set to continue into next week, with the sun set to have a break from the clouds on Monday as it shines down on London in intervals across the day.

The sun will shine over the city once again on Tuesday, briefly taking cover in the clouds over lunch before coming back out in the late afternoon into the evening.
