The 464th CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post has spotlighted the outfield footballers with the most significant impact during the 2023/24 season, spanning 54 leagues worldwide.

Using a sophisticated impact score derived from player performances across six key areas, domestic league minutes, and match results, the analysis provides a comprehensive view of the season's standout performers.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Manchester City star Rodri has achieved the highest impact score across all positions. Other notable performers include former Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka and his Bayer Leverkusen teammate Florian Wirtz.
