Arsenal WAG pens emotional online letter to ‘beautiful and dedicated’ football star after break-up U-turn

Love was in the air for Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus on Monday as his partner Raiane Lima shared a long letter of affection on social media.

The Brazilian, who marked his first Premier League start since November on Saturday with a brace, turned 26 years old on Monday.

Jesus was treated to a red-and-white football-themed cake and posed in front of a balloon display and glittery background with Raiane and daughter Helena.

The Gunners talisman started dating the Brazilian influencer back in June 2021 when at Manchester City and the two welcomed their daughter the year after.

The gushing post comes just two months after the pair reportedly split up due to external pressures on their relationship.

In a now-deleted Instagram post from January, Raiane had stated: "Before gossip spreads, I myself make a point of letting you know that Gabriel and I are no longer a couple. And whoever wants to judge can judge. Anyone who wants to say some bad things, can speak.

"After this post, you know that you will never again see me talk about what we went through, or about any subject related to our daughter.

"It wasn't betrayal, it was just pressure from everyone and everything. We got along well, but because of other people's problems, it always got to us.

"I can't take it anymore, and I'm not going to force myself into something that's killing me."

However, the couple seem to be back together once again with the birthday post coming after the two were seen celebrating their anniversary in February.

In a long birthday message, Raiane wrote: "A day to celebrate this boy/man who easily conquers anyone with his charisma and humility.

"A humble man, dedicated to work, family, our little girl, and friends. Always with lots of love and affection (in his own way, of course!). You are so sweet, Gabriel!

"Your beautiful way of living delights everyone who knows you, my love! What a man with a good heart, how beautiful is his strength and courage to face life. Know that I am very proud of you!

"It's beautiful to see your joy when you get up and go for another day, always dedicated to everything that is delivered into your hands. So young and so many responsibilities, so many resignations so far, always happy and full of life."

Jesus' girlfriend finished by promising the star that "we're here for everything" as she reaffirmed her love.

The player thanked Raiane for the post in the comments as he shared it on his profile. Jesus said: “You are everything to me. I love you guys.”
