Latest transfer news and rumours on the Brentford front as they prepare for their next Premier League game

Leeds United are reportedly interested in Brentford-linked defender Milos Kerkez. The Whites are believed to be keen on landing the left-back this summer despite it being uncertain what league they will be playing in next season.

According to Record [via Sport Witness], they are eyeing a swoop along with Bundesliga giants. The 19-year-old has caught the eye playing in the Eredivisie this term and is being tipped for a bright future in the game.

Record claimed in late February that Brentford were after the youngster. European sides such as Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica and Wolfsburg were also said to be in the frame. The Bees could see the prospect as useful long-term competition for Rico Henry on the left flank of defence.

Kerkez, who is a Hungary international with four caps under his belt so far, has been with AZ since 2022 and he has made 35 appearances for them in all competitions in this campaign, chipping in with three goals. He had spells in the academies at Rapid Wien, Hódmezővásárhely and Győri before a year at AC Milan prior to his switch to Holland.

Brentford have been credited with an interest but may now have to face competition from Leeds United. Thomas Frank’s side lost 2-0 away at Wolves last time out.
