Final League One 'dirtiest' teams table compares Charlton, Leyton Orient, Portsmouth and rivals

Charlton Athletic and Leyton Orient made the crunching tackles and tactical fouls when needed to this season.

After Nathan Jones' arrival at The Valley, Charlton Athletic became one of the hardest teams to beat in League One as they enjoyed a 14-match unbeaten run in the division.

That upturn in form saw the Addicks move up and away from a relegation dogfight in an impressive manner under the former Luton Town and Southampton boss. Charlton saw out games and did the dirty work needed to secure their place in League One for next season.

Elsewhere in London, Leyton Orient looked at home after their promotion from League Two last year - the O's weren't to be bullied in the second tier.

Picking up results can come with the need for some game management skills. LondonWorld looks at the yellow and red card data to see which League One club is the 'dirtiest' in the league - data taken from Transfermarkt with one point awarded for a yellow card, three points for a yellow/red and five points for a straight red card.
