Chelsea starting lineup predicted vs West Ham as Mauricio Pochettino makes surprise attacking move

Chelsea will test their end-of-the-season fine form against West Ham at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Chelsea are hoping to have both Levi Colwill and Christopher Nkunku fit for the first time in three months against West Ham this weekend. The Blues are hoping to get all three points and boost their European ambitions.

The return of the duo however still means 10 players are likely to be out with most of them running out of games to return this campaign. Club captain Reece James is back to training but there is still no clarity on when he will be able to rejoin the match-day squad.

Chelsea reached the final of the League Cup earlier in the season and the semi-final of the FA Cup, but suffered disappointments in both competitions. They can compensate themselves with a strong end to the season and securing Europa League football or at least Conference League football.

So this could be a six-pointer though with West Ham one place and two points behind eighth-placed Chelsea. It must be said that the Hammers have played one game more but a win for either side could boost confidence in the remaining games.

Chelsea have suffered only one defeat in their last 17 home games so they’re the in-form team but this is a London derby and games against West Ham have always proved tricky.

This has been a tremendously difficult season with over 55 injuries suffered across the entire squad but Chelsea can still finish with a flourish, so to get the job done, here is the team we anticipate Pochettino will name for the game.
