Everton are leading the race to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja, with talks continuing behind the scenes.

Everton are pushing behind the scenes to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer as they look to build under Sean Dyche. Chelsea are open to selling Broja, who was sent out on loan in January to Fulham.

According to a report on talkSPORT, discussions are taking place behind the scenes, with the deal rumoured to be around £30 million. Sean Dyche's side is hoping for a quick breakthrough as they look to kickstart their summer transfer plans.

AC Milan, Monaco, Wolves, Crystal Palace, and Bologna are all interested in the striker, who came through the ranks at Cobham and excelled at Southampton before a knee injury knocked him off his perch.

At Southampton, he scored nine goals in the Premier League, which forced Chelsea to keep him the following season before the injury struck, and he has since not been able to find his form.

He recently admitted he was looking forward to playing in the Euros with his country, Albania, as he looks to get the chance to silence his critics.

He told the New York Times: “If I am involved, it will be an opportunity to show people who I am and what I am about. Every time I think about it, it brings a smile to my face. I have been dreaming my whole life to be a part of something like this.”

The 22-year-old has been named in the squad and will compete in the competition's group of death as they challenge Italy, Croatia, and Spain for a place in the next round.

A few goals in the Euros and Chelsea will be delighted as they look to sell and raise money for other targets this summer.
