Chelsea winter signing Joao Felix is already at home in west London after signing a six months deal a six-months contract.

Joao Felix says he is  enjoying life as a Chelsea player even though he was disappointed not to have taken all three points against West Ham on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League.

The Portuguese scored his first goal for Chelsea against West Ham, connecting well with a brilliant pass from fellow new signing Enzo Fernandez.

West Ham responded through an Emerson strike to deny the Blues all three points but the on-loan Atletico Madrid man says it’s been quite easy to bed in as a Chelsea player because of the quality of players around him.

He told the club’s website after the draw at the London Stadium:“I think we did enough to win, but this is football and you have to accept that West Ham defended well throughout the game.

“In the first 30 minutes, we had the ball in the net three times, two obviously cancelled out for offside, but at this point we were looking strong.

“Playing in this team with the quality around me, it’s easy. We all connect well and I think there are signs of that happening.

“Okay, we didn’t get the win on this occasion but we can build on this for the next game and hopefully get the three points going forward.”

Felix was sent off on his debut for the club- but against West Ham his class and authority was clear for all to see as his speed of thinking and ball ability was a delight for the away fans at the London Stadium.
