Latest news on the injury front regarding Fulham ahead of Leeds United clash

Fulham defender Layvin Kurzawa is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury ahead of the Cottagers’ FA Cup clash against Leeds United. Marco Silva’s side take on their fellow Premier League at Craven Cottage as they look to progress into the next round.

However, they will be without their PSG loan man. As per The Athletic, he has sustained a ruptured ligament knee injury which is a blow.

Fulham landed the left-back last summer to compete with Antonee Robinson. However, he has found game time hard to come by with the London club and has made just three league appearances.

Kurzawa, 30, has played in the cup games though and has scored in recent FA Cup ties against Championship pair Hull City and Sunderland. He probably would have featured against Leeds this evening but Robinson is now most likely poised to step in again.

The France international has been on the books of parent club PSG since 2015, having previously played for AS Monaco. He has played 153 times for the Ligue 1 giants and will return to Paris at the end of his loan.

Fulham are also without Tom Cairney and Neeskens Kebano against Leeds. Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is expected to return though.
