Tottenham manager is predicting big things for Newcastle United after their start under new owners.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte will be looking for a reaction from his team when they take on Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday evening. Spurs could barely land any blow against Manchester United in midweek and it will be interesting to see the kind of performance they put against an in-form Newcastle United side thrashed Fulham and Brentford recently.

Harry Kane has eight goals against the Magies while Son Heung-min scored home and away against them last season. They come into this weekend’s game having won four of their last six visits to N17- and manager Antonio Conte says the Premier League should be looking out for Eddie Howe’s side based on their form from last season and this one.

The Tottenham manager told reporters ahead of this weekend’s game:  “You know we are going to play seven games in a short period and Newcastle is not involved in the Champions League and now you start to feel the fatigue and you start to have injuries.

“The difficulty for the teams that are going to play in Europe is also a little difficult. You can see you have to consider Newcastle for the present and for the future as a dangerous team.

“For the first position and for Champions League spots and for the fight to win trophies and for sure Newcastle needed a bit of time and they have the potential to go into the market. They did this summer and then to become one of the best teams in England and for this reason many clubs have to pay great attention and in my opinion I see Newcastle to in the future to become really really dangerous.”

Looking for straight response

Despite the defeat to Manchester United in midweek, Spurs are still just four points off top spot in the Premier League and have won all their home games so far. The Tottenham stadium has been very kind to them and a win against an in-form Newcastle side will bury the worries of midweek at Old Trafford. They will have to do that without Dejan Kulusevki and Richarlison both injured but Emerson Royal is back after serving a three game suspension after being sent off against Arsenal.
