Tottenham will have a busy summer having already confirmed the loan extension of Timo Werner.

Tottenham striker Richarlison has shown he’s desperate to stay at the club by quickly shutting down reports that he could leave north London this summer. The £60million signing from Everton two seasons ago is just coming off his best spell as a Spurs player, with 11 goals and four assists in the 28 league games he played for the club this season.

Various reports home and abroad have suggested he could be shipped out especially after Tottenham took up the option to sign Timo Werner for another season on loan from RB Leipzig this week.

LondonWorld has been told he is one of the players who are on the list of possible departures this summer and the Dailymail has also reported that Spurs will consider a fee for him from the Saudi Pro League.

But reacting to the increasing news of his possible departure from the Lilywhites, the 27-year-old posted on his social media handles: “fake news.”

Tottenham looking to build for Europe and the Premier League

Spurs showed signs of immense progress in the first half of the season with last summer's new signings James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario quickly adapting to their roles, but injuries and a drop in form meant they ended fifth place in the league.

Since then, they have moved swiftly to extend forward Timo Werner’s loan spell for another season and have been linked with a host of top players across Europe

They have also sold defender Japhet Tanganga to Championship side Millwall as they look to loosen the wage bill and create room for a few more fresh signings this summer.

Next season will be a true test of manager Postecoglou’s managerial skills as Europe means more games, less turnaround time and heightened demands from the fans to at least secure Champions League football and make a huge statement in the Europa League.
