The six Tottenham players who will not be travelling with the team to Stamford Bridge due to injury

Tottenham will be without six players for tonight’s game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham have the chance to prove they are more than just nearmen and will hope to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge tonight. They face a familiar foe at Stamford Bridge, one that they have managed just one win away from home in their last 38 games in all competitions.

Manager Ange Postecoglou confirmed his team had been hit with another injury with Ben Davies, who came in for the injured Destiny Udogie now ruled out for the rest of the season due to a groin injury.

On the injuries manager Postecoglou said when asked about team news : “Unfortunately we've had a couple of issues from the game. Timo with his hamstring obviously so we've got two-and-a-half weeks to go so he'll miss the rest of the season. Ben Davies has got a calf injury and he's out of the game and he'll probably miss the rest of the season as well.”

List of injured Tottenham players who will miss the Chelsea game

Before Davies was Timo Werner who has played in 13 league games since he arrived from Germany in January, Spurs have checked in at the team hotel ahead of the pivotal game knowing a defeat will be another blow to the Champions League ambitions.

Destiny Udogie, Ben Davies, Ryan Sessegnon, Timo Werner, Manor Solomon and Fraser Forster have all not been spotted at the team hotel.

Both Tottenham and Chelsea still have all to play for with European football still a real possibility. Chelsea want either Europa League or Europa Conference League and will have to beat West HamNewcastle and possibly Manchester United to it while Tottenham have a seven-point gap to make up against Aston Villa even though they have two games in hand if they are to secure Champions League football.

On the issue of pride and bragging rights, Spurs saw their unbeaten start to the season ended by Chelsea last November so beating them at Stamford Bridge will make up for that night in north London.
