Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris is determined to leave the club this summer and has been given an opportunity to replace departing Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana at the Italian club.
The 2018 World Cup-winning goalkeeper recently retired from international football in a bid to concentrate on club football, but last season was challenging with Tottenham finishing eighth and Lloris picking up injuries that affected his overall impact and performance.

Hide AdLloris has made more than 400 appearances in an 11-year stint at the club- that has seen him lead the team to the final of the Champions League in 2019, but they lost to Liverpool.
Earlier in the summer, Lloris told French media that it was time to look for a new challenge and that feeling would have been amplified by Tottenham signing Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario as his long-term replacement. Inter Milan are holding talks with Manchester United regarding the sale of Andre Onana, a goalkeeper who impressed massively as Inter reached the final of the Champions League.
Lloris is seen as an ideal replacement for the Cameroon international even though the likes of Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer and PSG’s Keylor Navas, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Nottingham Forest also on the list.
The French goalkeeper’s contract in north London is set to run out next summer so Spurs will likely demand a fee even though getting his wages off the bill will weigh heavily during discissions too.

Hide AdNew manager Ange Postecoglou tasked with getting Tottenham back to competing amongst the big boys in the Premier League is said to have impressed many including Lloris who has been back to pre-season training in north London.
The signing of Leicester City’s James Maddison has also lifted moods, but with Tottenham still looking to bring in the likes of Manor Solomon and Micky van de Ven, they will have to balance the books by getting some of the big earners off the wage bill.
