Latest news on the transfer front relating to West Ham

West Ham boss David Moyes has said the club hasn’t received any offers for Michail Antonio. The attacker has been linked with fellow Premier League club Wolves this month.

The Hammers’ manager has also poured cold water on speculation linking his side with a move for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri this winter. He caught the eye at the World Cup last month with Morocco.

TalkSPORT have reported that Wolves are keen on Antonio but Moyes has said, as per Sky Sports: “We’ve had no offer and no enquiry so I don’t know where that’s sort of grown legs from. Nevertheless Mick’s really important for us. I think he’s got a two-year contract so he’s here for a while.”

Regarding En-Nesyri, he explained: “He’s a player we have been looking at for a few years, not just recently. I don’t he’s coming to West Ham, no.”

Moyes also revealed an offer has come in from Wolves for defender Craig Dawson but it has been rejected: “We’ve had an offer from Wolves, we’ve not accepted it. That’s about as much as I can tell you.”

Dawson is out of contract at the end of the season and is currently due to become a free agent. He has made eight league appearances so far this term.

West Ham take on Wolves away this weekend and will be eager to start picking up some more wins. They are only above the relegation zone on goal difference and have seen their form slump in the league of late.

They beat Brentford 1-0 away last time out in the FA Cup with Said Benrahma scoring the winner against his former club. Moyes will be hoping that result gives his side a confidence boost.
