Drake’s London OVO store, which opened in 2017, has reportedly been vandalised.

A photo showing what appears to be the vandalised shop window of Drake’s clothing brand October’s Very Own’s London store has gone viral this week.

On Tuesday (May 7), a journalist Nicolas-Tyrell Scott shared on X an image of the Soho shop’s storefront, which appeared to have the phrase “They not like us” in grey spray paint on its window. A follow-up post said the graffiti has since been covered up.

When LondonWorld visited the shop on Wednesday there was no graffiti. Staff did not deny the incident happened, but said: “When we got here this morning there was nothing there, so we don’t know.”

Following the post, which has over 255,800 views on the platform, fans online soon linked the graffitied words to the lyrics of Kendrick Lamar’s new track Not Like Us on Reddit. The phrase is repeated over and over in the chorus.

The incident appears to be the latest in a long-running feud between the two superstars.

October’s Very Own’s London shop opened on Soho’s Poland Street in 2017, almost a decade after the lifestyle brand was first established in 2008.

The clothing retailer’s name references the birth month of its founder, Drake. OVO also features in the name of Drake’s independent record label.

The London store is one of the brand’s current 11 outlets. The other 10 are scattered across the US and Canada.
