Taylor Swift fans treated the pop star to a prolonged standing ovation during her opening Eras Tour show in London at Wembley Stadium.

Following Taylor Swift’s performance of the Evermore hit Champagne Problems on Friday (June 21), fans erupted in applause as they shared their love for the hitmaker.

The standing ovation from capital crowds lasted a whopping 15 minutes with an emotional Swift adding she was ‘blown away’ by the warm reception from fans.

She said: “That was the most generous thing you could ever do for people who stand on this stage. I am really blown away by that. I don’t know what to say to you other than that I love you so much. That was such a wonderful thing for you to do for us.”

88,446 people attended the first night of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour at Wembley Stadium with around 700,000 expected to flock to the venue across the eight shows in the city.
