New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mak's Chinese Takeaway, at 432 Whitehorse Road, Croydon was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 23.

And Newroz Grill, at 27 Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon was also given a score of three on February 23.

It means that of Croydon's 288 takeaways with ratings, 110 (38%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
