New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Croydon’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Magic Corn Croydon, at Magic Corn Kiosk, Whitgift Centre, Croydon was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 19.

And Fresh And Tasty, at 476 London Road, Croydon was given a score of two on May 20.

It means that of Croydon's 335 takeaways with ratings, 160 (48%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
