Enfield road closures: almost a dozen for motorists to avoid this week

Enfield's motorists will have 11 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And six of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A10, from 10pm March 11 to 5am March 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures and west quadrant roundabout and exit slip road closures for, junction improvement scheme, diversion via National Highways network and local authority roads.

And a further 10 closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M25, from 10pm March 14 to 5.30am March 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for for investigation work.

• M25, from 10pm March 14 to 5.30am March 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures and exit slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm March 17 to 5.30am March 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures for inspections.

• M25, from 10pm March 17 to 5.30am March 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 24, Lane closures for inspection works.

• A10, from 10pm March 18 to 5am March 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, Lane closures and northeastern quadrant roundabout and exit slip road closures for, junction improvement works, diversion via National Highways network and local authority roads.

• A10, from 10pm March 21 to 5am March 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, North east quadrant Roundabout lane closure for, junction improvement scheme.

• M25, from 10pm March 21 to 5.30am March 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, Lane closures and entry slip road closure for inspections works, diversion via National Highways network.

• M25, from 10pm March 21 to 5am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closures for boundary fence repairs.

• A10, from 10pm March 25 to 5am March 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25, Lane closures and west quadrant roundabout and exit slip road closures for, junction improvement scheme, diversion via National Highways network and local authority roads.

• A10, from 10pm March 28 to 5am March 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, exit slip road Lane closure and roundabout lane closure for, junction improvement scheme.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
