Road closures: six for Enfield drivers this week

Drivers in and around Enfield will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start this week:

• M25, from 10pm January 23 to 5.30am January 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, exit slip road and lane closures for electrical works, diversion via local authority network.

• M25, from 10pm January 23 to 5.30am January 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 25 to junction 24, Lane closure for electrical works.

• M25, from 10pm January 25 to 5.30am January 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, exit and entry slip road closure and lane closures for CCTV camera installation, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 11pm January 27 to 5.30am January 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25, slip road and lane closure for electrical works, diversion via National highways network.

• M25, from 10pm January 30 to 5.03am February 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 25 to junction 26, Lane closures for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm February 6 to 6am February 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 Anti clockwise, junction 26 to junction 25, carriageway closure, entry slip closure and lane closures for tunnel inspections, diversion via local authority roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
