Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to seven Hackney establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Hackney’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Pizza East/Concrete Space at Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, Hackney, London; rated on August 7

• Rated 5: Salt The Radish at 45 Blackstock Road, Hackney, London; rated on July 28

• Rated 5: Lissome Bar & Restaurant Ltd at 488-490 Kingsland Road, Hackney, London; rated on July 27

• Rated 5: Hanimeli Restaurant at 29 Stoke Newington Road, Hackney, London; rated on July 25

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: Birdcage Stoke Newwington at The Birdcage Public House, 58 Stamford Hill, Hackney, London; rated on July 18
