New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Hackney’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

• Rated 5: Slice Club Pizza at East Wing Oslo House, 7 Prince Edwards Road, Hackney, London; rated on June 7

• Rated 5: The Frenchie at Kasper'S Kitchens Unit 7a/B Regent Studios 8 Andrews Studios, Hackney, London; rated on June 7

It means that of Hackney's 1,069 similar establishments with ratings, 602 (56%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
