Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to six Hammersmith and Fulham establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of Hammersmith and Fulham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Greggs PLC at Unit 35, Broadway Shopping Centre, Hammersmith Broadway, London; rated on July 26

• Rated 5: Yucca at 496 Fulham Road, London; rated on July 21

• Rated 5: Soyum Oriental at 61 Fulham High Street, London; rated on July 19

• Rated 5: Costa Coffee at Units 23 And 24a, Broadway Shopping Centre, Hammersmith Broadway, London; rated on July 13

• Rated 5: Sam's Riverside at Riverside Studios, 101 Queen Caroline Street, London; rated on July 13

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
