Havering road closures: five for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Havering's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Havering's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 5am September 29 2023 to 5am June 29 2024, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 28 to junction 27, lane and slip road closure for consrtuction of new slip road, diversion via National Highways roads.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A1023, from 10pm November 6 to 6am November 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 to junction 29, carriageway and entry slip road closure for resurfacing works, diversion via Local Authorities roads.

M25, from 10pm November 6 to 5.30am November 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, Lanes closure for resurfacing works.

A13, from 10pm November 7 to 5am November 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 southbound, junction A1012 to junction MarDyke, Lane, entry and exit slip road closures for maintenance works, diversion via local authority network.

M25, from 10pm November 13 to 5.30am November 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 27 to junction 28, Lane closure for surevey works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
