Road closures: five for Havering drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Havering will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Havering will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M25, from 5am September 29 2023 to 5am June 29 2024, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 28 to junction 27, lane and slip road closure for consrtuction of new slip road, diversion via National Highways roads.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A12, from 10pm February 5 to 6am February 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise and anti-clockwise, junction 28, Lane closures for electrical works.

A13, from 10pm February 6 to 5am February 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29 to junction 30 and A13 eastbound and west bound, slip roads and M25 clockwise, junction 28 roundabout, Lane closures for cyclical maintenance.

M25, from 10pm February 8 to 5.30am February 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, Lane closure for renewal works.

A1023, from 10pm February 12 to 5.30am February 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28 roundabout, Lane closures for barrier works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
