Food hygiene ratings handed to 11 Hillingdon establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 11 of Hillingdon’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Beefeater at 1 Millington Road, Hayes; rated on September 15

• Rated 5: British Airways - First Class Concorde Lounge at British Airways Concorde Room Terminal 5 Departures Level, Wellington Road, London Heathrow Airport; rated on September 15

• Rated 5: Curry Delight at 1 Northfield Parade, Station Road, Hayes; rated on September 15

• Rated 5: San Remo Lakeside Cafe at Ruislip Lido, Reservoir Road, Ruislip; rated on August 31

• Rated 4: Chaii Room at 219 Field End Road, Ruislip; rated on September 7

• Rated 4: Lady Marmalade at 30 High Road, Cowley; rated on August 16

• Rated 1: Hunterz Lounge at 870 Uxbridge Road, Hayes; rated on August 16

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Airport Bowl at Bath Road, Heathrow; rated on September 15
